We are a bunch of guys who had a dream: to put this side of the world on the map through panoramic images. We did that all by ourselves, with the technology we developed and we didn't think for one second that this was impossible.

The most difficult thing was building the first car. We had to think about how to position the cameras, which angles they should capture, for how long, how they should synchronize with the computers inside.

But this is why we were quite busy since January 2008 and it is only now that we want to concentrate on the community and open the hailing frequencies. The community was very important to us from the beginning, as the news of our existence spread rapidly across the web and people embraced our idea.

So the NORC blog will be the place where you'll find out about all the new stuff that we are doing and lots of stories about how we do it, because life at NORC is full of adventure.
